Imphal, December 22 2008:
TWO DAYS health check-up for pregnant women was organised on December 17 and 18 at Tamei in Tamenglong distrct by the Oriental Rural Development Organisation in collaboration with Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (ICTC) Tamei PHC.
Dr Paochaibou stated in a press note that the programme was supported by MACS.
During the health camp, 75 pregnant women registered for health check-up, out of which 38 women had undergone HIV testing.
Similar programmes will be organised in and around Tamei area and also in the interior areas, Dr Paochaibou informed.
