Imphal, October 11 2009: A 60 year-old woman died when she was knocked down by a scooter in front of an oil filling station at Khabeisoi along the Imphal-Lamlai road.

The incident occurred at about 2.30 pm and the deceased woman has been identified as Khatum Begum wife of Md Ibothem of Khabeisoi.

She succumbed to her injury at RIMS hospital.

Report said she was knocked by the scooter while she was going on the roadside.
