Imphal, December 14 2008: REPEAL AFSPA for a day and save Sharmila, said co-convener Sharmila Kanba Lup, S Momon while speaking to the media persons as the relay-hunger-strike launching by the body entered sixth day today.

In the ongoing relay-hunger-strike at Porompat PDA, meanwhile womenfolk numbering around 170 coming from separate places like Ishok Makha Leikai, Awang Sekmai, Maharabi, singjamei, Sekta Mayai Leikai, Heirangoithong, Ningthoukhong, Kakwa, Nongpok Sekmai and Moirang took part today.

Momon also expressed dissatisfaction on the government remaining silent even though the stir entered its six day today while asking whether the government is waiting for an intensified agitation.
