While reacting to the allegations made by his daughter-in-law, family members of Tayenjam Yaiskul who was threw out from his village, appealed the public to bring the truth in light.
In a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, Yaiskul said that he along with his friends Hijam Sarat from Pangei and Yendrembam Kumar from Kongpal and his brother Tayenjam Chandrasingh were having a dinner party at the tower foot of Vodafone situated at a distance of around 200 feet from his house across the street.
They were not partying in his house.
After the party, all four of them went to drop Sarat to Pangei in a Maruti Gypsy.
When they returned, they saw villagers gathering at his home.
Then they began to beat them without questioning.
The allegation made by the JAC upon him that he instigated his friend to molest her is completely baseless and wrong allegation, he said.
He further said that he was not the type to commit such inhuman blunder.
Furthermore, he very well the dire consequences that would be followed after such immoral act.
His friend Kumar over whom the allegation was made never entered his home that day.
All of them were at the place of the party and left for Pangei after the party.
So there would be no chance for him to commit such blunder, Yaiskul said.
His wife Mema, his son Tayenjam Ibomcha, his wife Sanatombi and their son Robinchandra and some friends of his son were there in his home at that day.
If Kumar tried to molest her, why not she (Sharmila) shouted, he asked.
He further alleged the JAC for its unjustified act of beating and throwing him and his family from the village listening to a one-sided story.
He appealed to investigate the truth and bring it into light.
If they found him guilty, he will gladly accept any punishment given to him by the public.
Yaiskul's wife Mema said that they have been taking shelter in a relative's house at Khurai Chingangbam Leikai since the JAC threw her family from their village.
She also alleged the JAC for their unjustified act and demanded to investigate the matter and bring the truth into light.
If the JAC do not have the gut to find the truth, then they should come and kill us, she asked.
According to his son Ibomcha, when he went to his home to take some rice with security personnel, he found his home in complete disarray.
Gold ornaments and money kept in their house were stolen, almirahs were broken and the rice grains ravaged with fuel waste.
