Taking note on the non-arrival of rain till now across the state, Cabinet of the SPF under the chair of the Chief Minister, O Ibobi will discuss to take up precautionary measures.
Official source said apart from discussion on taking up precautionary measures to counter draughts in the state, the scheduled Cabinet will discuss on the security protection of the VVIPs in Manipur will also be reviewed.
The Cabinet will meet at 3 pm in the office of the Cabinet room of the chief minister's secretariat.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) has been called on June 23 to chalk out the business to be transected during the seating of the house which state Governor has summoned on July 3 .
Sources said that in the Cabinet meeting which would convene under the chair of the state chief minister, O Ibobi will discuss to as many as 12 agendas which is likely to increase mostly related with filing up of vacant posts in various departments.
Review to the security provided to the VVIPs of the state including that of chief minister, O Ibobi put up by the state home department will be discussed in the meeting apart from reviewing the law and order situation of the state in the wake serial killing of non-locals and bomb blast at the high security area near the 2nd MR complex on June 16 .
The Cabinet will discuss on the tightening up of security of the Chief Minister which have been currently under protection by the Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF).
State home department is likely to put up a proposal to press the Centre for replacement of the CM security by the National Security Gourd (NSG).
