Development impossible without public participation: Thangso Baite

All the development programmes taken up by the state government as well as other Central sponsored schemes could not be implemented and the benefit without public participation, exclaimed Thangso Baite, MP, Outer Parliamentary Constituency.
Speaking at the 2nd Khanglai Meet, 2012, organised by Sadar Hills Saikul Block District Sports Association at Saikul Block Ground today, MP Thangso Baite said that just as people are coming out together to participate in such sporting events, they should participate in the programmes taken up by the state government so as to bring about development in the state.
The MP also appeled to the public to keep aside all differences over caste and creed and work together for building a better and developed Manipur.
Among others, the inaugural function of the 2nd Khanglai Meet was also attended by DK Thangboi Haokip, SDO/BDO Saikul and Thangpam Lupheng, President Kuki Inpi Manipur.
