Manipur People's Party (MPP) and BJP, Manipur Pradesh today demanded probe into the controversy arising out of the alleged concealment of the results of the DPC for appointment of primary teachers which was exposed by the Hueiyen Lanpao.
In separate interaction with the presidents of the two opposition parties, they demanded government clarification regarding the delay in the declaration of the DPC results.
MPP president, Dr Nimaichand Luwang demanded that the state government should inquire into the concealment of the results of the DPC and make the reasons behind the delay in declaration of the result known to the public.
The result of the DPC for appointment of primary teachers has remained concealed for a long time.
The Government should institute an inquiry into the delay in declaration of the result, he said adding that an FIR can also be lodged with the police to know the truth behind the concealing of the results for a long time.
Education minister should not remain silent and divert the attention of the people by saying that he had no idea about the matter, Nimaichand observed.
On the other hand,BJP state unit president, Shantikumar Sharma also demanded that government should give a clear cut reason behind the delay in the declaration of the DPC result.
It will be a right step for the government to investigate into the delay in declaring the result to know whether the result declaration was delayed due to negligence on the part of the board members conducting the DPC or any other.
In the state, declaration of results of government job recruitment consumed too much time.
It made candidates disappointment.
If results are not to be declared, it will be better not to conduct the DPC for government job recruitment, he went on to observed.
Government should make a policy to check delay in the declaration of results of government job recruitment as this was not the first case but a long practice one.
This will also hinder developmental process in the state, the BJP president opined.
He also expressed his willingness to look into the matter thoroughly by the minister concern and deliver justice to the people.
