CBI submits charge sheets on Kishan case

Imphal, November 12 2009: The CBI has submitted charge sheets of the murder of Kasom Khullen SDO, Dr Thingnam Kishen and his two subordinate staff by cadres of NSCN(IM) after abduction.

An official source said that CBI has submitted the charge sheets to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ukhrul in the first week of this current month, November.

The CBI is investigating into the murder of Mention may be made that SDO Kasom Khullen, Dr Thingnam Kishan and his two sub-ordinate staff, Mandal, Y Token and driver, A Rajen were kidnapped by the cadres of the NSCN(IM) from near the DC, Ukhrul office and later found murder brutally under the Lukhrabi Bridge in Senapati District.

CBI is investigating into the murder case after state government handed over the case to the investigating agency.

During the course of investigation, it ha taken one of the alleged prime accused Hopeson Ningshen of NSCN(IM) into their custody after the outfit handed over him.
