Imphal, October 27 2009:
A public meeting organized by the All Manipur Muslim Students' Guardians Committee today resolved to re-open schools if there bring about no agreement between the agitating students' bodies and government on or before October 31 .
The public was held at Darul Ullungam Madrasa, Lilong Haoreibi under the aegis of the All Manipur Muslim Students' Guardians Committee.
The meeting discussed on the matters arising out of the prolong suspension of class due to the class boycott stir called by the three students bodies, AMSU, MSF and KSA in support of the agitation spearheading by the Apunba Lup against fake encounter.

Talkers in the meeting expressed their strong condemnation to the government adamant attitude on the July 23 broad daylight incident but suggested that to replace the class boycott stir by other democratic forms of agitations.
The meeting also resolved to extend all forms of co-operation if other forms of agitation launch against the July 23 incident.
It also resolved to request both the agitating Apunba Lup and government to bring an agreement through dialogue within October 31 .
If fails to bring an agreement, the meeting urged to try its best to re-open schools and resume normal class at the earliest and to fix responsibility to government in case of any untoward incident happen in its effort to resume normal class.
Speaking at the meeting, Kharifuddin, a guardian said, to dethrone O Ibobi from the post of chief minister will not be able unless all the 59 MLAs rose up.
Tug of war among people will not bring an end to the deadlock.
He also expressed wondered when the students' bodies which have been chanting for bringing quality education opted to launch indefinite class boycott stir which is totally contradict with the effort of quality education.
Member of the Turel Ahanbi Zilla Parishad, Pheisal, councilor of Lilong Nagar Panchayat, Abothem and other noted public leaders talked at length on the matters arising of prolong suspension of class in schools.
