Karnataka Dy CM to reach Imphal today

Imphal, August 25 2012:
After his stopover at Assam, Deputy CM of Karnataka R Ashok would be arriving at Imphal tomorrow on a mission to build confidence among the NE people who fled Bangalore and other cities in the wake of threats of backlash over the ongoing violence in Assam.
Ashok, who is also in-charge of Home & Transport of Karnataka Government, would land at Tulihal Airport, Imphal from Guwahati in a special flight at 11.50 am tomorrow.
Soon after his arrival, Ashok would meet Manipuris who fled from Bangalore and other parts of the country and urged them to return.
Later in the evening, he would address press conference along with CM O Ibobi and Home Minister Gaikhagnam at CM's cabinet room at 4.30 pm.
