Dissatisfied residents of Khurai areas have turned their anger towards the Working Committee of the Apunba Lup and the two JACs for (L) Sanjit and (L) Rabina accusing them of bargaining the agitation with money with the state government.
A public meeting was held this afternoon at the ground of Netaji Memorial Club at Khurai Kongpal Thongkhong in Imphal East district to discuss the sudden turn-about on the stand of Apunba Lup, AMSU, MSF, KSA and two JACs, assisted by leaders of the Senior Citizens for Society, during the talks with the Chief Minister recently.
A large number of residents of four Leikais namely Khurai Kongpal Laishram Leikai, Khurai Sajor Leikai, Khurai Chinggangbam Leikai and Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai attended the meeting which adopted several resolutions.

The resolutions are: (a) If such agitations in future are going to be settled by bargaining with money like this, residents of the four Leikais of Khurai areas will not support and take part in any further agitation spearheaded by the Apunba Lup; (b) to boycott the family of Late Sanjit by the four Leikais and (c) to urge the principals/headmaster of private schools not to collect fees from the students for the four-month period of the class boycott and also the school van owners not to accept fees from the students.
Today's public meeting also unanimously resolved to boycott the convenor of the JAC for (L) Sanjit, Th Anita, publicity secretary Kh Dhanapriyari, finance secretary Y Shilla, advisor S Leirangtombi and Y Ranjoy by the four Leikais.
