Chief Minister O Ibobi has urged all concerned to shun violence and rededicate to the development of the state.
He appealed all concerned to take part in the developmental activities of the state.
Chief Minister O Ibobi was speaking as the chief guest on the occasion of the observance of National Re-dedication Day to mark the death anniversary of former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi held at the 1st Manipur Rifles Parade Ground today.
He said that various secessionists' movements in India are a threat to the national integrity.
The militancy-related violence in both the hills and valley of Manipur has snatched the peace and harmony of the state apart from being an ingredient to break the state's integrity.

On October 31, 1984, Indira Gandhi was assassinated.
But her contributions towards the national integrity remain intact.
She was a staunch believer of improving the rights of the deprived sections.
She is remembered, not only in India but throughout the world, as a leader who stood till her moment for the integrity of the Nation.
He added that the death anniversary of the great leader has been observed as National Re-dedication Day.
He appealed the people to rededicate themselves to the strengthening of India.
The occasion was graced by Power Minister T Phungzathang as the president.
Speaking on the occasion, T Phungzathang said Indira Gandhi was a born leader.
He noted that the late Prime Minister took active part in the non-alliance movement.
Manipur got statehood with the support and initiatives of Indira Gandhi.
Various Ministers of the SPF government, MLAs, top government officials have attended the function today.
Meanwhile, the National Re-dedication Day was also observed at Congress Bhawan located at BT Road underthe aegis of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee.
The occasion was graced, among others, by CM O Ibobi, MPCC President Gaikhangam, Power Minister T Phungzathang, Works Minister K Ranjit, Education Minister L Jayentakumar, Sports Minister N Biren, and Chief Whip T Mangibabu.
The dignitaries and gatherings including Congress MLAs and workers, led by CM O Ibobi, offered floral tribute to the portrait of the late Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
Chief Minister Ibobi has also inaugurated a blood donation programme at the Congress Bhavan today wherein 40 Youth Congress workers have donated blood.
Chief Minister O Ibobi said the ideals of Indira Gandhi in preserving and protecting the national integrity should be translated into action by one and all.
He also remembered the former PM as a true patriot who sacrificed even his life for the sake of national integrity.
Ibobi noted that the attempt of the Mizo National Front (MNF) in disintegrating the state by trying to segregate Churachandpur in an attempt to form Greater Mizoram was thwarted.
He said, the integrity of the state must be preserved and protected by one all.
MPCC President Gaikhangam said a seminar on National Integration will be held at the block level as per instruction from the AICC.
He said the sacrificial spirit of Indira Gandhi for the integrity of the nation should be remembered.
