Imphal, February 24, 2010: A controversy was erupted to the hang to dead of a housewife having two children yesterday at her husband's house at Thoubal Leishangthem in a suspicion manner as parental family of deceased objected in performing the last rites of the deceased today.

The dead body of the 28-year old housewife identified as Sapam Ningol Yumnam ongbi Inakhunbi wife of Ramesh has been kept at RIMS morgue, Imphal due to the protest by the parental home of the deceased at Thoubal Khekman.

The deceased woman was survived her husband and two children of age seven and two year old.

Her husband is a VDF attached with Thoubal police station.

Reports said that she was found hang to dead with a cloth from the ceiling of a room of her husband's house yesterday at about 10 am.

The parental family of the woman was informed of the matter around a hour later at about 11 am, they said.

When the dead body was about to brought down from the Lilong mortuary after postmortem today by the family of the husband, parental family objected it demanding postmortem report of the deceased.

They objected that until the postmortem reports on the deceased is available and know the exact reason behind the cause of the dead.
