On the second of its black badge stir campaign, volunteers of DESAM today launch the campaign to the students of Little Master Higher Secondary Schools, Samurou.
During the campaign, DESAM information and publicity secretary, Kc Ibomcha urged the students to stick the black badge till the culprits involved in the murder of the SDO, Dr Kishan and his two staff is awarded befitting punishment.
The atrocities meted out by the NSCN(IM) to the people of the state has cross the limit of patience.
Time has arrived to thing now what people would do against such excessive committed by the cadres of the outfit.
Whether the people would remain silent keeping behind the challenges ahead, he asked.
In the meanwhile, the statementof the chief minister, O Ibobi regarding the three persons abducted together with murdered SDO and his two staff which could not revealed whether they are rescue or picked up by the security forces has created a confusion to the people, expressing doubt that they are in the custody of the state authorities.
Finding out of any clues even after three days had passed from them has made more disbelieved to the statement of the chief minister, Ibomcha said demanding production of the three persons before the public.
He also insisted the NSCN(IM) to take up appropriate actions to its cadres as they admitted involvement of its cadres including a high ranking cadre so as to ease the prevailing communal tension in the state in wake of murder of the SDO Kasom Khullen and his two staff.
In case, any untoward incident arising out of non-delivering of justice to the people will be the sole responsible for the outfit, he added.
Expressing concern over the prevailing system, the information and publicity secretary further said the hills are rule by NSCN(IM) while the valley are in the hand of the police commandos.
And government could not take up any action towards the anti-social elements and wrong doers.
The campaign was also launched at the Brilliant Public School where volunteers stick batches to the students.
