A statement issued by the WCAL conveyed that the Apunba Lup and the people are all set to launch intense agitation while stating that the agitations cannot be suppressed by imposition of curfew.
It also appealed the people to defy the curfew and joined in the agitations to demand the resignation of the CM on moral ground.
The statement also affirmed to carry on the agitations until the guilty commandos are punished fittingly.
The WCAL also urged all the JACs formed against fake encounter killings to join the agitations.
The WCAL also informed the people that the torch rally will continue till tomorrow.
Reiterating its stand to reject any sort of inquiries, the WCAL statement wondered how many guilty people have been punished so far based on the numerous judicial and magisterial inquiry reports.
The statement also categorically refused to accept the measures adopted to mollify the agitations by suspending some policemen and ordering an inquiry.
It demanded the CM to resign from his post.
Is it not necessary to know the contradiction of the CM's statement on the floor of the Assembly and the suspension of six police personnel? What ranks were to be given to the sis suspended policemen on their revocation?, the WCAl statement questioned.
