Imphal, March 30 2009: Ningthoujam Gulapi (41) of Heirok Part II Maning Leikai, Moirangthem Shantipur (28) of Langathel Mamang Leikai, Laishram Jane (55) of Naoremthong Laishom Leirak and Thiyam Ingocha (31) of Naoremthong Kholem Leikai have no relationship whatsoever with the KCP, contended a press release issued by the proscribed outfit's information and publicity secretary H Poirei.

These individuals were arrested by security forces on March 27 of being KCP cadres.

Further reacting to the police assertion that Rs 35,000 was given for recruitment one fresh cadre, the clarified that the party only recruited those who come out voluntarily in the interest of the society and land.

Behaviour and attitude of police commandos are well known to the people, it added.
