Imphal, October 24 2009:
AMSU, MSF, and KSA have reiterated to continue their class boycott agitation until the people's demands are achieved even if thousands of resolutions and recommendations are adopted by various organisations.
A joint statement issued by the three students' bodies asserted that no council and board examinations should be conducted as syllabuses remain to be covered due to the class boycott.
It stated that in view of the students who are deprived of their learning the students' bodies - AMSU, MSF and KSA - have been imposing a ban on any activity related to council and board.
It further reminded the concerned individuals not to get involved in any activity relating to council and board.
It added that any school providing eligible marks to the board for students of class X will be taken as anti-people.
The statement urged the board and council to consider whether it is feasible to conduct exam when students could not continue their studies.
Stating that the class boycott is the genuine fight for right to education, the statement justified that there will be no right to education when there is no right to life.
