Imphal, August 04 2009: "Shradha ceremony of my son will not be performed till justice is deliver on her son's dead," lamented Inaotombi, mother of 27-year old Chongkham Sanjit who was killed by the police commandos on July 23 last which Tehelka exposes killed in fake encounter.

After the Sharda ceremony of Sanjit, falls today postponed parents of Sanjit and members of JAC met with media persons at the house of deceased at Khurai Kongpal Sajor Leikai today to announce the clear stand of the JAC and family on the matter.

Chief Minister, O Ibobi should resign from chief minister post and police commandos involved in the fake encounter should be given life imprisonment, Ibetombi said with cried and adding that even though he is a Chief Minister, it cannot be say that the faith befell to her family will not happen to Ibobi's family one day.

The shradha ceremony of her son will be performed only after the last rites of Ibobi's government performed, she lamented.

She also demanded handing over of the police commandos involved in the killing of her son to the people and award them befitting punishment.

Father of the Sanjit, Khellen alleged that Chief Minister,O Ibobi is giving order to kill innocent people openly.

He is not fit for being a leader of the people, he should be a man running his family by catching fish, not as chief minister of the state.

Convener of the JAC, Th Anita said Ibobi is openly challenging the people of the state.

Now time has come to teach lesson to Ibobi.

When there is hard evidence by the photos of Tehelka, no question of finding the truth by conducting magisterial enquiry needed.

She further said Ibobi by remaining camping at New Delhi in the name of finalization of plan outlay when burning at home state has showed that he a man who do not know his duty and why he delay in taking up action against the police officer who furnished him the wrong report with regard to the incident.

Anita also alleged that Secular Progressive Front government has kept meaningless to the democracy in the state and Ibobi has desecrated the gallantry awards which are conferred to the personnel who scarified their life for the motherland by giving it to the police commandos who killed people in fake encounters.

The chief minister remaining camping at New Delhi in order to avoid public pressure ad for love of chief minister post.

But "we will not retreat our agitations till our demands for befitting punishment to the police commandos killing people in fake encounter awarded or chief minister resign" the convener added.

Chief minister, O Ibobi, mention may be made is currently camping in New Delhi for his business related with the finalization of annual outlay for the year 2009-10.He is scheduled to back Imphal tomorrow.

The family members also distributed CD cassettes of photos which Sanjit was found lying dead after killing inside the pharmacy.

Later, people of the area marched a rally with local newspapers with the photographs that where uploaded on the website of the Tehelka mazine toward the Khurai Lamlong Bazar.

The rallyists also pull the effigies of chief minister, O Ibobi and DGP on the ground during the rally and then hang up with ropes on the necks of the effigies and later burnt down it.
