Imphal, March 31 2009:
A two day short term training programme on "Applications of Bioinformatics in Biology Teaching" organised by the Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility Centre, DM College of Science concluded today.
So far, three Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility Centres have been opened at Manipur University, SK Women's College Nambol and DM College of Science.
These centres have been supporting teaching of Biology students and research activities of scholars.
They also help in collection of resources.
The two day training programme which began from yesterday was participated by Biology teachers, research scholars and students from University, colleges and schools.
