Imphal, October 29 2012: Kut 2012 would be celebrated at 1st MR Ground, Imphal on November 1 under the aegis of the State Level Kut Committee (SLKC) Manipur.

Cultural programmes and Miss Kut Beauty Pageant would mark the noon and evening sessions of the celebration respectively, apart from other musical entertainments from invited renowned singers, informed a statement issued by SLKC Chairman, Dr Chalton Lien Amo.

Governor Pu Gurbachan Jagat and Chief Minister Pu O Ibobi Singh would grace the celebration as the chief guest of the noon and evening sessions respectively.

While extending KUT CHIBAI to all and the Kut celebrating communities in particular, the SLKC also welcomed all to be part of the festival.

It further appealed all concerned not to call any bandh or strike on Kut day and to extend cooperation towards the success of the celebration.
