Imphal, February 28 2009:
Twenty-five MCS-II officers have been promoted to MCS-I as per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Government of Manipur.
They are Peter Ningshen, L Heramani Singh, S Achoubi Singh, Md Adbus Salam, Th Amal Kumar Singh, H Mathang Singh, Paolun Tuboi, K Thuingaleng, K Gopal Kabui, H Kullachandra Singh, L Nabakishore Singh, Thangpum Doungul, S Naba Singh, Hareshwar Goswami, Md Rehanuddin Choudhury, Thaikhui Rongmei, Th Chitra Devi, H Rosita Devi, Dr Harmit Pahuja, Th Kirankumar, Mannuamching, Joshep Pauline Kamson, Kengoo Zuringla, N Praveen Singh and Th Guni Singh.
Posting orders will be issued separately though, said the order.
Meanwhile, fourteen MPS-II officers have also been promoted to MPS-I officers according to a government order.
The promoted MPS officers are Md Firoz Khan, Y Ashokumar Singh, Md Ishak Shah, L Ishwarlal Sharma, S Chaoba Singh, L Ibotombi Singh, JS Moren Anal, Th Shyamsunder Singh, N Manimohon Singh, AK Jhalajit Singh, H Jogeshchandra Singh, N Herojit Meitei, S Goutam Singh and Ningshen Vashum.
The posting orders will be issued separately, said the order.
At the same time, 16 personnel of CID(SB), including two Inspectors, eight SI, one ASI, a Head Constable, and four constables have been retired from service today, according to a government source.
In another order, the DP&AR has also said that Th Jeevan Singh, Deputy Director of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry shall hold the charge of Director of VAH services in addition to his normal duties in his grade pay without any extra remuneration with immediate effect and until further orders.
