Community leaders of Moreh have extended thanks to Chief Minister O Ibobi for his positive response to the demands made by them through a memorandum.
The representation submitted yesterday in a meeting of different community leaders with the Chief Minister at his bungalow included making functional of different medical equipment installed at Moreh Hospital and filling up of nurse posts at the hospital with local trained nurses.
The memorandum also demanded for appointment of a Principal-in-Charge of Moreh Government Higher Secondary School from among the teachers of the school.
The community leaders also pressed on granting permission to the vehicles operating between Pallel and Moreh of entering Pallel within 12 pm.
They also demanded for operating service from Moreh starting 11 am.
The memorandum also urged to provide adequate ROP along Imphal-Moreh route and early completion of Mini Secretariat building of the border town.
The delegates who met the CM included Meetei Council Moreh President N Pulindro Singh, General Secretary N Inaocha Singh, Chamber of Commerce Moreh Secretary Surender Patheja, Hill Tribal Council Moreh President Jangmang Haokip, Secretary Ginsei Ihungdim, Tamil Sangam Moreh General Secretary Rabichandran, ADC Moreh Chairman Seisei Zou and Member JN Baite.
