Imphal, January 23:
Reacting to the charges and complaints levelled against it by the Consumers' Club, Senapati and ANSAM, M/s Iboyaima Tadubi Gas Agency has asserted it was nothing but a desperate attempt to sabotage the functioning and establishment of a bonafide distributor of the esteemed IOC (Ltd (AOD) authorities.
In a statement made available to the press manager of the gas agency L Adani said {we don't understand as to why and with what ill motive such social and public organisations are interfering and haunting in out business with misleading, inflammatory and irritating charges.
Setting the record straight, Adani said M/s Iboyaima Tadubi Gas Agency used to sell filled-in LPG cylinders by issuing cash memos to the Blue Card holders (consumers) only at the price/rate fixed by the IOC (AOD) LPG authorities in strict adherence to the directives issued from time to time.
The Gas agency is ready and prepared to sell the LPG cylinders at fixed rate, if the consumers (Blue card holders) so desire to collect from its Tadubi godown.
The statement further said it is in the interest and for the convenience of the consumers that the same extension points were arranged unofficially by the customers themselves without the knowledge of the gas agency to ensure delivery of LPG cylinders to the consumers who live in the inconvenient interior parts of Senapati district.
The marginal service charges, if any, is fixed by the Naga Peoples' Organisation and Town Committees of the local areas concerned on mutually agreed terms and conditions amongst themselves.
The statement further elucidated that if the if the consumers desire to open extension points at different places, they may approach the Deputy Commissioner, Senapati district for issuing necessary Government orders in consultation with the esteemed LPG authorities (IOC Ltd (AOD) and M/s Iboyaima Tadubi Gas Agency in public interest.
The gas agency also sought the co-operation of all in serving the its consumers.
