Condemnations over the killing of SDO Kishan and his subordinate staff Rajen and Token are coming in from all quarters for the third day today.
Decrying the gruesome killing, Manipur University Tribal Students' Union (MUTSU) urged all section of the public to restrain from any communal statement.
MUTSU also urged the State Govt not to delay in booking the culprits, so that the catastrophe does not go out of proportion.
Condemning the killing, Kuki Women Union Manipur asked why the perpetrators brought the dead bodies of the trio and dumped at Japhou Kuki.
The women's body said that it is high time that such killings should be stopped immediately.
Majorkhul Peikai (Village Authority), Majorkhul Women Society, Poumai Naotoumai Me, Sadar Hills District Congress Committee, Kabui Samiti Manipur, Hiyangthang Kabui Club also condemned the gruesome killing.
Decrying the killing, United NGOs Mission Manipur said that the State Government is not able to ensure Right to Life to people of the State despite having hundreds of security check posts and intelligence agencies.
The body also urged the general public to calm down and react through non-violence.
Community Recreation cum Library (CRCL), Ningomthongjao Kitna Panung, Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh, Manipur State Branch, All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union, Khurai Chairenthong Chaokhat Khongthang Nupi Lup, All Manipur Nupi Marup, Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union, Kakwa Leiphrakpam Leikai Apunba Nupi Lup, JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO, Manipur State Pensioners Union, State Academy of Training Dept Employees' Association, All India Youth Federation, All India Forward Bloc, Association of Independent Minds, AMYPCO, Socio-Economic and Cultural Organisation, Patsoi Kendra Development Council, Rashtriya Lok Dal (Youth Front), Janata Dal (United), Manipur State Unit, Youth Bright Star Club, Yaipha Lamjing Kanglup, Youth Welfare Club, Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Development Committee, People Welfare Forum, Human Resource Development Organisation, Wal United Youth's Club, United Villages and Clubs' Organisation and Nambol Area Kabui Sport Association also condemned the killing.
The Sadar Hills Chiefs' Association (SAHILCA), Manipur; Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur and Gorkha Union, Manipur have also strongly condemned the brutal killing of the MCS officer Dr Thingnam Kishan and his two staff.
In separate statements, these social organisations while calling upon the law enforcement authority of the Government to book perpetrators of the crime and dispense justice without delay have also appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony.
NH-53 Kanglei Ching-Tam Leimalup (NHKAL) condemned the killing of Kishan, Rajen and Token and also bashing up of volunteers of MAPI Council at Moreh.
Manipur Hockey Association, Manipur Olympic Assn and Manipur Handball Association have also condemned the triple murder.
Zeliangrong Students' Union, Barak Valley and Senior Citizens' Forum, Mayang Imphal have also condemned the killing.
NNN adds: The United Naga Council (UNC), the Naga Women Union, Manipur (NWUM), All Naga Students' Assn, Manipur (ANSAM) and Naga Peoples' Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR) in continuation of their strongest condemnation over the most heinous crime of killing of the then SDO Kasom khullen, Dr.Thingnam Kishan, MCS along with his driver, staff and three other staff missing till now and the subsequent appeal to all people for restraining in words or action with communal tone, the Naga frontal organizations once again is constrained to issue this press communique in the interest of all concern, have appealed to the State Govt for immediate and prompt action to tress the culprits for befitting punitive action as per the law and also rescue the still missing Govt staff.
"If the demeaning expression shown by some section of society pointing their fingers on certain organization is to be true then the organization authority should swiftly act and rope in those cadres responsible for the dastardly act of necessary punishment," the Naga frontal organisations asserted while adding, "We also express our anguish to the State Govt authority for its untimely intervention in saving the lives of the decease by interrogating the employees is by what Romita, wife of late Dr.Kishan testimonial to the press are anything to go by" .
The four Naga frontal organisations also expressed their concern over the ugly divisive statement of some underground groups in singling out particular community in this period of anguish agony, when the entire people is shocked over the horrendous triple murder, which call for collective responsibility of all people to nib this inhuman act which is spreading like a disease in the society in the bud.
"Lastly, we appeal that at this time of anguish agony, the whole people irrespective of caste, creed and color should be addressing collectively for justice and comforting the bereaved families over the tragic lost of their dear ones.
We believe politicizing over the innocence of will be unfortunate and amounts to crime as human being", they added.
