Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (SHRI) and the CRPF today inked an agreement for treatment of CRPF personnel of the manipur and Nagaland sector as a referral hospital.
a Memorandum of Understanding between authorities of the two paties was signed at the auditorium of CRPF Group Centre, Langjing with IGP (Manipur/Nagaland Sector) CRPF RC Tayal (IPS) representing the paramilitary force and SHRI Managing Director Dr Kh Palin inking the deal on behalf of the reputed private hospital.
As per the MoU, treatment cost of CRPF personnel or their family members at Shija hospital would be borne by the unit concerned with due compliance with procedural formality such as nature of ailment/treatment.

CRPF personnel and their families posted in Manipur and nagaland would be covered by the MoU.
Ex-servicemen of the CRPF would also be covered, a source said.
It is said that treatment cost of a personnel would be placed in the form of bill to the CRPF authorities who would forward the same to the Union Ministry concerned for relevant sanction.
Speaking at the occasion, RC Tayal said the MoU for 'cashless' treatment was materialisation of a long awaited aspiration of the paramilitary force to ensure high quality health care service to its personnel and their family members.
Shija hospital is being recognised as a regional leader in advance treatment and medical healthcare and the agreement will benefit the CRPF personnel in a big way, he expressed.
The MoU was signed under the provision of the Central Government's health Scheme.
Apart from the CRPF, Shija Hospital is currently referral hospital of the CAU, MU, NHPC, PGCI, Silk Board, Govt of Nagaland and Airport Authority of India.
Shija Hospital is so far the only referral hospital of public undertakings among private medical centres in the State.
