MEIRAA, SAIRC still on track

Imphal, November 13 2008: AS THE State Level Junior Women's Hockey League organised by Manipur Women's Hockey Association (MWHA) entered its ninth day, MEIRAA and SAI RC as usual once again displayed their skills by winning their respective match today.

The tournament is being held at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium since November 5 last.

In today's first match between MEIRAA, Bashikhong and Ideal Club Tera, MEIRAA beat Ideal Club 7-0 .

Ideal Club had a goalless match against MEIRAA today.

The first goal of the match was scored by S.Loibi of MEIRAA in the 19th minute of the match.

.NPunam scored one goal against Ideal Club in the 33rd minute.

The most beautiful, breathtaking moment of today's match was when K.Aruna of MEIRAA earned a hat trick by scoring three successive goals against Ideal Club in the 40th, 43rd and 44th minute of the match giving no chances to Ideal Club palyers for any resistance.

That was the only goal in the first half.

In the second half Th.Bidyarani of MEIRAA scored one goal against Ideal Club in the 57th minute.

Then again in the very next minute, N.Punam scored another goal adding one more goal in their account.

Players of Ideal Club showed little resistance.

They found it hard to compete with players of MEIRAA.

Sujata of MEIRAA were issued a yellow card each while Th.Radharani of Ideal Club was also issued a yellow card.

In the second match, SAI RC Takyel beat SLO Bishnupur 13-0.The first goal of the match was scored by Kh.

Sony scored one goal in the 10th minute.

.LPremika scored two goals at an inetrval of eight minute in the 19th and 27th minute.

Nirmala again scored one goal against SLO in the 35th minute.

.LPremika and L.Robita also scored one goal each in the very next two minutes.

The last goal of the first half was scored by Kh.

Nirmala in the 44th minute.

In the second half, L.Premika and Kh.

Nirmala scored two successive goals each in the 48th, 52nd and 53rd, 55th minute of the match.

.PAchoubi also scored one goal in the 58th minute of the match.

No players of SLO could scored any goals against SAI RC today.
