Manipur add two more gold

Manipur managed to add two more gold medals on the eighth day of the ongoing 34th National Games at Ranchi.
The two gold medals came from cycling events with Th Rameshwari winning the 500 metres women's individual time trial in 00:39.625 seconds.
The other gold medal was won by O Bikram in the 1000 metres men's individual time trial at the record timing of 01:11.268 seconds.
In addition, the team of K Suchitra, Th Helen and Ch Rameshwari won silver in women's team sprint category.
Th Helen Devi added another silver in Manipur's kitty in 3000 metres women's individual pursuit.
The third silver medal of the day was won by women's football team.
Manipuri women lost to Orissa 2-1 in the final match of women's football in a repeat of the last edition of National Games held in Assam.
The lone inconsequential goal for Manipur was scored by S Ibeyaima through penalty kick in middle part of second half.
