Imphal, March 23: Two power transformers installed at 33/11 KV sub-station at Kongba are under emergency shut down with effect from March 22 due to some technical failure in the machine.

Consequently, power supply to the consumers fed by the 11 KV feeders from the said sub-stations, namely Khongman feeder, Wangkhei feeder, Thoubalkhong feeder and Yairipok feeder would be affected while the defective transformer is being repaired, according to a statement issued by the Electricity Department.
