Imphal, October 22 2010:
Normal traffic on Imphal-Mao section of the NH-39 resumed from 2 pm of today with the completion of repairing of depressed site at Tabilok under Mao police station.
With the completion of the reappearing work, all the stranded trucks have proceeded towards Imphal.
Around 200 freight trucks including 21 oil tankers and four bullet tankers headed Imphal today afternoon around 2 pm, a police report said.
Mention may be made that Imphal-Dimapur section of NH-39 remained cut-off due to a road depression at Tabilok village, eight kilometers towards Imphal from Mao police station.
