Imphal, October 16 2008:
Taking serious note of the prevailing condition of Government schools in Maring inhabited areas, the Maring Students' Union (MSU) has urged upon the authority concerned to provide requisite infrastructure to these schools and to take up necessary actions so as to make these properly functional, conveyed a release.
It observed that Government schools in Maring inhabited areas have been paralysed for many years due to negligence by the Government.
For instance, the Machi High School which is the only functioning school lacks all kinds of facilities ranging from infrastructure to teaching and non-teaching staff, it cited.
