Imphal, March 23: Activists of UPACO and Thoubal district unit of United Women Development Organisation apprehended three persons and seized 23 litres of country liquor, alcohol brewing utensils and materials yesterday, informed Committee on Anti-Drugs and Alcohol.

The apprehended persons are identified as Mayanglambam Bino Devi (40) w/o M Thaniljao of Kakching Khunou Uchan Makhong, Khumukcham Mani (30) s/o Kh Monba of kakching Khunou Uchan Makhong and Ningthoujam Amurei (60) w/o N Ibopishak of Thongam Khunou Thongkhong.

The three have been released after a stringent warning against indulgence in such activities in the future.
