Imphal, February 26 2009:
The 29 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector organised a medical camp at Kwatha on February 24 during which 210 civilians including children of villages around Kwatha were treat-ed in addition to disbursing medicines and medical officers of the AR unit delivering lecture on personal hygiene and sanitation, PRO IGAR (S) informed.
Meanwhile, authorities of 10 JAK LI of 26 Sector IGAR (S) HQs organised the first Border Area Sports Meet cum Border Area Chi-efs general assembly from February 24 onward at Molcham.
Moreover, a me-dical camp was also organised to enhance standard of health and hygiene in the area and was attended by 400 men, women and children from 15 nearby villages of Samtal area.
