Imphal, July 24 2009:
Power Minister Phungzathang Tonsing has asserted that inspite of the proposed inspection visit of a Bangladesh Parliamentary team decision of the Central Government would be final on whether or not the Tipaimukh project would be continued.
The Minister made the statement during a discussion on the Tipaimukh dam issue at the State Assembly session today.
The Assembly also witnessed members of the House consenting to assess grant of 38 Departments for the 2002-03, 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07 financial years.
Moreover, the Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh introduced six Manipur Appropriation Bills.
