Tamenglong, February 17, 2010:
Rani Gaidinliu, a Zeliangrong woman who had fought the British to free Nagas, was remembered on her 17th death anniversary, organised by Rani Gaidinliu Death Anniversary Committee (RGDAC), Tamenglong here at Zeliangrong house Tamenglong this afternoon.
The function was grace by Joseph Pauline, MCS, ADM Tamenglong as chief guest, D.Dikambui, former President ZU, AMN and Keilamsuang Panmei, Lecturer Tamenglong Collage as president of the function and resource person respectively.
The resource person and the guest today lauded the efforts put in by Rani Gaidinliu to free the Nagas from British ruler, added that more such persons should cultivate from Zeliangrong community to contribute toward the Naga Nation.
