Imphal, April 15 2009:
Troops of 31 Assam rifles manning permanent check post at Khudenthabi intercepted a consignment of banned wildlife products on April 13.
The prohibited item which included 14 kgs of Pangolin shells were recovered from the possession of one Boji (35) of Moreh Ward No 3, a PRO IGAR (S) release said adding that the apprehended individual and recovered items have been handed over to officials of Forest Department, Moreh.
