Snake bite victim saved

Imphal, May 29 2011:
A medical team of 18 Sikh of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) saved the life of a woman bitten by a venomous snake today.
Chandni (43) of Nambol Naorem of Bishenpur district was brought to the Unit Hospital by her relatives in a critical condition.
The victim was immediately attended by the Medical officer who administered life saving anti snake venom.
The immediate medical intervention saved the life of the victim, a statement of the IGAR (S) said.
