Jiribam, November 12 2009:
The Kuki Inpi Jiri-Tamenglong Zone has expressed strong resentment against the eviction order issued to the Kamranga Khasia villagers by the ADC, Jiribam for setting up Police Training Centre at the said village.
Inpi president PT singson reminded that Kamranga Khasia village had been recognised as a bonafide village of Tousem sub-division in Tamenglong district through an order issued by the then Chief Secretary SM Krishna on February 14, 1972 .
Setting November 15 as deadline for annulling the eviction order, the Inpi cautioned that failure to evoke positive response would compel the body to launch intense agitation.
