Virasat series at Sainik School

Imphal, March 17 2011:
A group of classical musicians led by renowned flautist, Pandit Ronu Mazumdar and Pandit Pawan Bordoloi, the famous tabla player presented a mesmerizing performance in the Manekshaw Auditorium of the Sainik school yesterday.
Flautist, Pt Mazumdar's sweet notes reminded the audience of the mythical Ras Leela of Lord Krishna and the Gopis.
It left a memorable impression in the mind of the audience.
The programme was organized by the Sainik school as part of the Virasat Series 2011-12 by SPICMACAY, Imphal Chapter to promote Indian Classical Music, Dance and Culture amongst the youth, a statement of the PIB (DW) Imphal said.
