Imphal, February 16, 2010:
A five day national workshop on 'Problems in conservation of defect manuscripts in Manipur' organised by the Manipur State Archive, Manuscript Conservation Centre, Imphal in association with National Mission for Manuscripts, Department of Culture, Government of India begun here at conference hall of the state archive today.
The inaugural function of the workshop was graced by commissioner (art and culture), P Bharat and presided over by former principal of LMS Law College, RK Jhaljit.
The chief guest also opened an exhibition of manuscripts collected by individuals and by the state manuscripts conservation centre, Imphal.
