A team of Manipur People Party led by its president Dr Nimaichand Luwang will leave Imphal for spot inspection on the condition of the NH-53 tomorrow.
Mention may be made that MPP has decided to conduct an independent survey on the two national highways in the state with the objective of compiling a report on the present conditions of the stretches for onward submission to the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister.
Among other the MPP team to be led by its president, Dr Nimaichand Luwang will include member of the working committee of the party and former speaker, Dr S Dhananjoy, general secretary Y Mangi, Y Iboyaima, L Ashokumar and ex-MLA N Sovakiran, secretary, W Hemanta, Robin Kwaklei and RK Joychandra.
President of the Youth Front of the party, M Maniton, secretary organisation L Gyanendro and other members will also take part in the inspection team, a source from the party said today.
