Imphal, March 10 2009:
Information and Publicity Secretary of All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU), L Ranendra in a press statement issued today expressed their heartfelt condolence towards the people of the Wino Bazar, a commercial centre of Ukhrul which was burnt to ashes from a fire broke out from one of the hotel at the bazaar on March 9. AMSU appealed to the state government to grant all possible help to the suffering people of the area soon.
AMSU also said that the current status of the State Fire Service has become very weak and hence the government should supply more updated and implements to fire service to make them stronger in controlling such unwanted incidents in future.
