Imphal, March 24 2009:
The Centre for Organisation Research and Education (CORE) expressed deep concern regarding the killing of Deepak Gupta (40) of Gurgaon, Haryana, who lived at Thangal Bazaar as the proprietor of Janta Radio Sales and Services, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen inside his own shop.
CORE in its press statement said that the government should provide adequate compensation to the bereaved family and ensure security of live of its citizen to protect and maintain social harmony.
CORE lastly appealed to all section of the society to shun violence and promote harmony in the state.
