Imphal, January 05 2011:
Four Myanmarese without proper travelling documents, were detained by troops of 29 Assam Rifles at Sita track junction and handed over to Tengnoupal police station.
The four were identified as David (25) son of Thoung Tin, Md Subir Alam (28) son of Md Abu Khan, Md Imran (20) son of late Md Aseo Rehman and Md Sukur (21) son of Md Liyakat Ali, all from Arkant state of Myanmar.
They were travelling in a Maruti Van (MN01K-3818) on NH 39 yesterday around 11.30 am by the troops, a statement of the PRO, IGAR (S) said today.
