Imphal, March 25 2011:
The place where a new waterfall was said to be been discovered is not near Molnom village but within the boundary of Saivom village, a statement of the Saivom Village Authority clarified today.
The statement signed by Ating Christina Haokip, chief of Saivom Village, Chandel district said that the actual site of the waterfall is called Kahte-Lok and not Tuisa-Lok as was reported in a local newspaper published in Imphal on its March 17 edition.
"The error could perhaps have been caused by the fact that the local source, Ngamhao Haokip is a person who has recently settled in the area," the statement revealed.
