Imphal, March 22 2009:
Another group of the armed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) is likely to come across the negotiation table even as report has been received that proposal/demand of Lallumba group of the outfit would feature in the next round of talks.
During an initial round of talks between leaders of the Lallumba group and Central-State Government representatives held at New Delhi recently the former had reportedly proposed a package for the cadres.
Among others the groups proposed package would be an important agenda when the next round of tripartite talk next month is held in the presence of the Union Home Secretary, disclosed a source.
Even though the source declined to particularise which of the remaining KCP group would heed call of the Government for a negotiated settlement to the insurgency problem it is informed that another KCP faction would certainly have talks with Government representatives.
