Imphal, November 24: Based on specific information, troops of 22 Maratha Light Infantry of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (S) established mobile vehicle check post in Khumbong area today and intercepted one Tata Sumo bearing no.MN01W-0645 carrying 800 litres of illicit country liquor from a spot in between Meitram and Mekola.

The driver of the vehicle identified as Padam Deepak Singh (30) s/o Pebam of Meitram and two other occupants were handed over to Patsoi PS along with the seized liquor, according to a an AR PRO release.
