Nine minors, including six Bangladeshis, escaped from a juvenile home at Narsingarh in Tripura last night, police sources said.
The nine minors, all inmates of a remand home, escaped by prising open the window grill during evening hours at Narsingarh, near the state capital, sources said.
While illegal entry and theft charges had been framed against the Bangladeshis, the three other minors had allegedly committed petty crimes.
All police stations in the state and the Border Security Force (BSF), guarding the 856 km long porous borderwith Tripura, have been alerted.
