The Senior Citizens For Society today expressed worried over adding another problem of quit notice to the non-Manipuris in the trouble riddled of the state.
A statement of the society signed by its president N Binoy said that Senior Citizen for Society worried and concern over the prevailing state of chaotic situation of the state where kidnapping, killing, looting, corruption, bandh and blockade occurred without a day break.
The state of situation is at the limit.
Amidst this chaotic situation, another unrest situation added when non-Manipuris were asked to leave the state on or before May 30 and Moist has, in reply to it, served counter ultimatum to the Mainpuris outside the state leave on or before June 30 .
There is apprehension of occurring untoward incidents in the conflict.
The prevailing situation is worrisome one, it said.
The worrisome is amidst the chaotic situation in the state when the impasse between the state government and its employees continued for the last more than three months.
Since more sections of the employees joining the cease work strike, government function is almost paralyses.
There is no sign of ending the impasse as government is in no position to bring the striking employees to the negotiating table.
On the other hand, it has already two weeks completed to the imposition of economic blockade of the ANSAM demanding review to the government decision of holding the election to the Autonomous District Council after around 20 years of gap.
The lifelines of the people have been cut owing to the blockade as not only the transportation of essential commodities but also movement of inter-state passenger buses had stopped.
People are at the limit of woe, the statement observed expressing that even government provided escorts many vehicles have been damaged in the stoning by the blockade supporters.
Every section of the society, it seems acting on whatever the manner they like.
However, there should have ways to end all this conflicts , the statement observed appealing the government to find out the ways and means to end all these for the sake of the general populace.
