Imphal, November 24: The 43rd foundation anniversary of the United National Liberation Front, Manipur was celebrated in different places of the State and beyond.

The anniversary function was celebrated together with people at the party�s Central Headquarters, MPA GHQ, battalion headquarters, tactical headquarters, Task force headquarters, district headquarters of party organisation and branch/unit headquarters and also at other places, conveyed a statement issued by UNLF�s Senior Publicity Officer Ksh Yoiheiba.

The main function was held at the party CHQs where its Central Committee Chairman and Vice-Chairman graced the occasion as chief guest and president respectively.

During the function, the annual statement of the Central Committee was read out and deliberated.

Various circumstances and exigencies being encountered in the ongoing liberation movement was collectively studied together with Central Committee members, CHQ functionaries and party cadres.

The Chairman�s greeting was also read out on the occasion.

On the occasion, the outfit conveyed gratitude to all the indigenous people of Manipur and beyond who have been providing the vital support to the liberation struggle and martyred cadres, living members as well as to all their family members and sympathisers.

The UNLF also acknowledged the greetings by like minded, fraternal revolutionary groups.

The outfit also conveyed gratitude to the media persons who have been shouldering the responsibility of disseminating the message of liberation movement and also the excesses of the alien rule to the international community.
