The 100 pc poll figure recorded in 35/32 polling station of Khangabok Assembly constituency in Thoubal district was due to some tabulation error by the presiding officer.
The same polling station was the home polling station of Chief Minister O Ibobi.
Speaking to The Sangai Express RO of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency RK Dinesh said that the error was detected during scrutiny following a complaint by Mani Charenamei to the ECI.
The total number of electorate listed under the polling station is 689.Out of these, 682 voters cast their votes.
However, due to a tabulation error on the part of the presiding officer, the poll pc was recorded at 100 pc, clarified Thoubal DC/RO Dinesh.
As per the records obtained from the diary of the presiding officer, 220 voters cast their votes between 7 am and 9 am at the polling station.
Another 200 voters exercised their franchise between 9 am and 11 am followed by another 130 between 11 am and 1 pm.
The number voters who cast their votes between 1 pm and 3 pm 60 and between 3 pm and 4 pm was 72 .
Saying that there was no complaint on the day of polling, RK Dinesh informed that a report will be sent today itself in this regard as per an instruction.
